Hospital of Hope

Scan Display designed and built Africa’s largest Covid-19 temporary hospital at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) in Cape Town, South Africa in May 2020.

The company’s team of architects, interior designers and project managers created solutions for the hospital’s infrastructure, plumbing and electrical requirements.

Mining Indaba

Investing in African Mining Indaba (also known as Mining Indaba) is the world’s largest mining investment conference and the largest mining event in Africa. It takes place annually at Cape Town International Convention Centre in Cape Town.

Scan Display has built the event’s infrastructure since 2018 and numerous exhibitors’ stands each year.

Professional Beauty takes place in South Africa, the United Kingdom, Ireland, India and Dubai each year, showcasing leading brands in the beauty, spa and wellness industries.

Scan Display has built the infrastructure for the South African show since 2012. It also builds several exhibitors’ stands at the show each year.

We Are Africa

We are Africa is a vibrant gathering of luxury African travel brands, which is held annually at the Cape Town Stadium.

Scan Display has built the exhibition infrastructure since the show’s inception in 2014, creating custom-made exhibition booths, registration areas and a variety of networking and entertainment touch points.

The exhibition is a visual feast of graphics and evocative images of Africa’s finest travel experiences.

Investec Cape Town Art Fair

Investec Cape Town Art Fair showcases a diversity of work at the forefront of African contemporary art. It is held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre in February each year.

Scan Display has installed the infrastructure since the first event in 2013. Consisting of 1 300m of 3.6m high seamless gallery walling with a suspended lighting truss, the show is considered the equivalent of international art fairs, Miart and Art Basel.

AfricaCom

AfricaCom is the place to connect with all the main players in the African telecoms and technology industry. Held annually at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, the event has grown into one of biggest shows on the South African exhibitions calendar.

Buy Local Summit & Expo

The Buy Local Summit & Expo hosted by Proudly South Africa is held annually in Johannesburg and celebrates Proudly South African companies, from large corporations to small artisan crafters. SMMEs and entrepreneurs are given a platform to promote their products, and speakers highlight the benefits of local procurement.

Africa Aerospace and Defence

Africa Aerospace and Defence takes place biennially in Tshwane, South Africa’s administrative capital. The event is Africa’s only aerospace and defence show that combines a trade exhibition and an air show.

Scan Display has built numerous stands at the exhibition over the last 15 years.

ICASA

ICASA, the International Conference on AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Diseases in Africa, brings together people from different African regions to collaborate on their treatment of HIV and AIDS.

Scan Display built the infrastructure at ICASA 2019 in Kigali, Rwanda and at ICASA 2015 in Harare, Zimbabwe.

Magical Kenya Travel Expo

The annual Magical Kenya Travel Expo takes place at Kenyatta International Convention Centre in Nairobi, Kenya, bringing together international buyers and local exhibitors, and raising the profile of Kenya as a destination.

Scan Display, together with its Kenyan distributor, built shell scheme and exhibition stands, and created some indoor and outdoor branding at the 2017, 2018 and 2019 shows.

Innovation Africa Summit

The annual Innovation Africa Summit is Africa’s leading education and ICT forum. It brings together government officials, private sector investors and leading educationalists from the continent, taking place in a different African country each year.

Scan Display was the official infrastructure, audiovisual equipment and furniture service provider for the 2017 edition in Maputo, Mozambique.

KitKat Chocolatory

Scan Display designed and built the KitKat Chocolatory pop up store on behalf of Nestlé South Africa in the food court at Mall of Africa in 2018.

The custom-made pop up store offered chocolate lovers the opportunity to personalise and handcraft chocolate creations.
