Display Stands for Manufacturing Expo

Display Stands for Manufacturing Events – Don’t Miss the Indaba in Sandton!

As a provider of award-winning display stands for manufacturing exhibition events, we are proud to be one of the suppliers of such display stands for the 2019 Manufacturing Indaba running from the 25th to the 26th of June at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg.

It is the leading manufacturing expo and conference event in sub-Saharan Africa. Even though it only runs over two days, the top companies in the industry have their display stands at the event. It has been proven to be an exceptionally important event for network building, information sharing, and product or service launches in Africa. Exhibitors have many opportunities to build brand awareness and engage with potential buyers. Of course, if you have missed the opportunity to exhibit at this year’s expo, do not despair as it is an annual event, giving you time to discuss your exhibition needs with our team for design ideas regarding your display stands for manufacturing events.

Why You Should Reserve a Spot as an Exhibitor at the Manufacturing Indaba

The event is visited by more than 2 500 potential buyers. Well over 1 500 industry players already exhibit at the event. Not having your company represented at the event means missing opportunities to network, develop brand awareness, and connect with potential buyers. We make it possible to stand out at such trade shows with our modular display stands for events throughout South Africa.

We provide turnkey solutions, enabling you to focus on your business at hand, while we create your award-winning exhibition stand.

If you are not yet convinced of the benefits of exhibiting at the event, consider the advantages below:

  • Establish personal contact – meet the people at the other end of the emails in person and build strong client relationships.
  • Compete favourably – even if you are a small company, you can compete with large industry players because you have the same access to visitors.
  • Get valuable feedback – informal engagement with visitors and short feedback forms help you to gain valuable insight into buyer perspectives, brand image, and customer satisfaction.

Exhibition Stands Supplier

Top Tips from an Award-Winning Exhibition Stands Supplier for Creating an Outstanding Display

Professional exhibition stands suppliers will tell you that your display or stand plays a vital role in your participation at a tradeshow or exhibition. While attracting attention is important, your exhibition stand must also be able to depict and highlight your products in such a way that it draws the attention of your target audience. While some companies endeavour to create their own exhibition stands, it must be noted that those who trust award-winning exhibition stands suppliers to design and create their displays stand out from the rest. Here are tips on creating an outstanding exhibition stand:

Create a Concept That Ties in With Your Company and Product Themes

It is important to create a theme that tells the customer what your business is about without them having to ask. Your concept theme must clearly show attendees what your products are about.

Carefully Consider Your Space Limitations

If you are hiring a stand space, it is important to know precisely how much space you will have available. Exhibition stand suppliers can create all manner of stands and displays in just about any space, but they need to know what they are working with. Also, if you plan a stand that is too big for your space, it will look disorganised and unprofessional.

Determine the Objective or Function of The Exhibition Stand Before You Design It

Some exhibition stands will be purely for displaying products and catalogues, while others might offer potential customers the opportunity to experience the product and service. Either way, you are going to need to factor in the use of space, where your employees will consult with customers, and how they will try out your products (if this is something you are offering). Make sure that you have a practical workspace plan in mind so that your exhibition stand supplier can create something that fits in with that plan.

Take Advantage of Lighting and Technology

Lighting forms a major design element of any professional exhibition stand. In addition to standard venue lighting, you might want to include lighted signage or use spotlights or coloured lights to highlight certain products. Technology is also a valuable design element. By displaying digital media on your products and services, you can ensure that target audience can have quick access to information. It is also great that they have something to watch while you are helping another customer.

Give Your Stand Some Oomph!

A stand with lighting and signage and displays can serve a standard purpose, but if you want it to really grab the attention of your target audience, it needs something extra. That is where professional exhibition stands suppliers come in. They have the skills and knowledge to create a stand with a little something extra that makes it “pop”. And that is why industry leaders such as Scan Display have become renowned for creating award-winning exhibition stands.

If you would like to learn more about the various display and exhibition stand options available, take the time to get in touch with your local exhibition stands supplier, Scan Display. We are available via email and telephone and look forward to assisting you further.

City of Joburg Exhibitions

Scan Display was awarded the contracts for the City of Johannesburg and Gauteng Provincial Government’s pavilions at the Joburg Easter Festival, held at the MTN Expo Centre from 3 to 13 April 2009.

Uncertainty about the show’s venue had r esulted in tenders being awarded later than usual and Scan had to work to very tight deadlines to produce over 2 000m² of custom-built exhibition stands for the show. Scan rose to the challenge and produced award-winning exhibits – both the City of Johannesburg and Gauteng Provincial Government’s stands were awarded Gold status by the exhibition organisers.

Scan’s MD, Justin Hawes, attributes the success of these projects to Scan’s infrastructure, which enables the company to deliver on big exhibitions and events. He says: “Our new 10 000m² factory in Newtown gives us the extra capacity to deliver where smaller operators wouldn’t be able to. We also have a dedicated electrician and printer on site which makes a huge difference to our quality of service. ”

With the Confederations Cup just around the corner and many of the tournament games being played in Gauteng, the reception area of the Gauteng province’s pavilion focused on soccer. The pavilion’s graphics included the provincial governments’ stunning new-look logo and colours.

The City of Johannesburg’s exhibit was divided into eight different sections representing the municipality’s different departments. The displays were made as interactive as possible to encourage participation from the public and Scan used its Mobi Pro product (a portable stand with a computer) to allow visitors to update their records at the show.
