Scan Display’s Modulbox featured at MSP Developments charity golf day
Scan Display sponsored the use of its unique event-in-a-box product, the Modulbox, at the recent MSP Developments ‘Play to Give’ Charity golf day.

The Modulbox is a versatile event platform; folded away it forms a mobile cube, and opened out it provides a shell structure that can be furnished according to the requirements of the event. In addition, the panels of the Modulbox provide an ideal surface for highly visible branding, and can be positioned in a variety of combinations, allowing one to easily change the layout design.
MSP Developments chose Lydia House, a home for abandoned children in Somerset West, to benefit from their fundraising efforts. The money raised will be used to build them a much needed larger home.
Over 70 companies and many local celebrities were present on the day – including big names such as Kerry McGregor, Rob Louw, Lieschen Botes, Gerrie Scheepers, Hottie Louw, Werner Greeff and many more. The Modulbox featured a lounge area for the guests to relax in, with an MSP Developments information desk.

The generosity of the companies and guests attending helped MSP Developments to raise R80 000, and many companies also pledged their support towards the building process.
A special mention must be made of co-sponsors Itec Cape Town, Radio Tygerberg, Mostert & Bosman Attorneys and C2M Chartered Accountants, who made the day possible.
“This year was a great success,” says Sarah Bateman, the MSP Developments Public Relations Officer. “Lydia and all the children were present at the event and it was amazing to see how everyone’s hearts melted the moment they saw the beautiful children.”
“MSP Developments are greatly appreciative of all the sponsors and the support from all of the great people involved. We cannot wait to get the ball rolling for the next ‘Play to Give’ charity golf day.”

by Ceri | Dec 29, 2010 | Banner displays
We offer numerous mobile and portable exhibition solutions allowing the exhibitor to incorporate displays used at previous exhibitions with new displays. Visitors want something that is familiar and something new when they visit your stand at various exhibitions. As such you can incorporate displays to give them both. Items such as pop-up and roll-up banners, shark fins, flags, brochure stands, and gazebos can be re-used in another exhibition. Where you may change the module stand you can for instance, keep the banner wall. When you incorporate displays you save money while also gaining new attention with the unique displays you put on.
by Ceri | Dec 22, 2010 | Pop-Ups, Roll-Ups
If you are serious about making a visual statement at a tradeshow you should incorporate roll up banners with pop-ups, signage, brochures, showcase displays, light boxes and the perfect lay-out of the stand. If you plan to host a small exhibition in a shopping mall, you will want to incorporate roll up banners with for instance, shark fin banners and a banner wall for maximum effect. For conferences the roll up banners together with pop-ups work well while the real estate agent displaying a new development can incorporate roll up banners with flags, the use of a branded gazebo and balloons to draw attention.
by Ceri | Dec 20, 2010 | Exhibition Services, Exhibitions, Printing
When shopping for providers of exhibition printing services consider the following:
- Types of exhibition printing offered
- Costs involved
- Materials on which they can do exhibition printing
- Design capabilities of the team
The quality of exhibition printing must be outstanding, especially considering the fact that you will only have one chance to make a positive impression. The visitors will decide within ten seconds whether they want to visit your site or not. Once the visitors are at your booth, you will want them to take brochures, remember specific messages, and enquire about advertised products or services. For such you will need high quality exhibition printing and design. Don’t settle for the first company that offers such. Opt for a company with a proven track record in printing for exhibitions. The choice should be Scan Display.
